The Filipino's out there probably already know, but we went to see the popular game show Wowowee. I made a complete fool of myself and got to be a Bigatin. I didn't win my contest but I did win 2,000 pesos. I forgot my camera, so here are some shots I took from my iPhone. Kara took one of me while on stage too.

As promised, here some video from wowowee. I took it from my Tivo. I didn't spend much time editing it, so please excuse the rough cuts. Also, the show is 3 hours long in the Philippines and only 1 1/2 here in the US. Thankfully they edited out the part where we danced on stage to win money. Willie (the host) said he liked my dancing so much, he pulled me out front and center and had me dance alone. (while saying in Tagalog that "even he's American, I can make him dance") Our relatives in the Philippines got to see it, but everyone else will just have to imagine. it.

It was a different dance than what we did to get on the show. It came down to a run off between me and the girl in the yellow shirt. She was with the big group in yellow shirts so While I got a lot of votes, they helped her win the 5000 pesos. Sorry to let everyone down.
